Dogs for Rural Areas

Do you live on acreage and are looking for a dog who is suitable (or used to) rural living?

Our dogs in care (big and small) are able to be tested with the variety of livestock (eg feathered and furry) prior to being adopted.

Giving a home to an abandoned or unwanted rescue dog, or cat, is probably one of the most rewarding experiences a person can have.

We DO NOT operate on a first come first served basis.

My goal is to match animals as closely as I can with the best situation for their individual needs. People already owning pet, especially dogs, are encouraged to bring their pet with them to meet the new potential family member PRIOR to adoption. Also please bear in mind that a dog you see, or a particular breed you may have set your heart on, may not actually be the most suitable dog for you or your circumstances, as we do our best to match the right owner with the right dog on an individual basis. If you fail to hear from me, please accept my apologies and ring to check on status.

We are a self funded private rescue. Due to the high volume of applications, we ask that you be patient in waiting for replies. Please do not submit duplicate applications or separate requests for response. Doing this will not accelerate the review process in any way.
