Breakaway safety collars are for everyday use and are designed to prevent choking if the collar is caught as it will open under pressure.

They can still be used for walking on a leash, by attaching your lead to each of the 'D's and used as a 'flat' collar. These collars are ideal for dogs who regularly escape as ID can be worn all the time and ID tags can be attached to the 'D' rings.
